The wedding took place on Saturday 17th December 2011 on the family estate near Thika. Sally was accompanied by her three sisters Heather, Anita and Petra as bridesmaids. The flower girls who also sung “Por Kare Kare Ana” during the service, were her neices from Tanzania.
The bridegroom Hamish Pescini is from New Zealand and there was a large contingent of kiwis at the wedding. Hamish is a geologist based in Westport on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand, where the couple now live.
Master of Ceremonies was David Marshall. The speeches were excellent with the bride’s father David Harries leading the way.
