The Legacy Fund
The Pembroke House Living Legacy Development Fund is designed to receive not only by legacies but also immediate cash donations.
There has been such a crying need for capital items that rather than building up an investment, the Foundation has had to respond by using its capital. Providing we raise a decent amount in a shorter time we should have a sum to invest while also making contributions to the school.
The target for the Fund raising is KShs 60,000,000:
- Shs 15,000,000 as a scholarship fund for the less well off children within Pembroke House
- Shs 15,000,000 to assist gifted but less well off children enter high quality secondary schools
- Shs 30,000,000 for capital development.
Capital will be invested and the proceeds used to finance these aims. Donations and legacies are requested towards the same end. Examples are gifts in memory of people; gifts by year class; individual gifts; or tagged gifts specified but not into the collective fund.
